A writer named Joseph Crone has suffered the misfortune of losing his wife and son in a fire. After this terrible event, Joseph has terrible nightmares, attends therapy and has lost faith in God. However, his father, who would have been a priest at the time, is dying. His brother Samuel Crone calls him to spend a few days with his father and take the opportunity to spend a few days together and make up for lost time.
