Tyrell Patrick was a African-American mercenary within the Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service (U.B.C.S.) and was a member of Bravo Platoon's Squad A. He worked alongside Carlos Oliveira, they were given orders to look for Dr. Nathaniel Bard at the Raccoon Police Station. Patrick also worked with Delta Platoon's Mikhail Viktor, along with Nicholai Ginovaef. While trying to repair the rail vehicle to use it as a safe escape route, Patrick and Oliveira rescued some of Raccoon City's citizens. The remaining U.B.C.S.' have help from former S.T.A.R.S. officer Jill Valentine to make the train operational again. Tyrell was ambushed by Nemesis with the B.O.W impaling Patrick with a tentacle.
