British and Soviet nuclear submarines are being stolen in parts of the world. In Austria, Bond escapes a trap set by the Soviets by killing one of them. Ski down the mountain until you jump off a ravine and open a parachute with the United Kingdom flag. Upon returning to the country, Bond is informed that someone is stealing the submarines' secret routes. The agent travels to Egypt to meet with a salesman. He first meets a Soviet agent named Anya Amasova who becomes his rival. Both travel to Luxor after the micro-film with the submarine routes.
