The first MI6 agent to join Section 00, Edward Donne grew up in the working-class areas of Portsmouth, in a family of dockers and sailors. A fighter by nature, his time in the army helped him control his anger, as well as joining the secret service. Although he preferred to work alone in his early days as a spy, he soon became attached to the other agents, whom he considered his only friends. Underneath his gruff exterior, Ed is a sincere and loyal man who will do anything for his friends and the country.
