New Birds Of Prey Trailer Emancipates Harley Quinn

Harley finally has her babies.

Birds of Prey has released the first trailer and it looks to keep the DC asthetic which is... not anything like Marvel. No matter what side of the DC movie fence you fall on (I fall on the positive) they mostly play to the beat of their own drum.

Harley and The Joker have broken up and this leads Harley to cross paths with Roman Sionis otherwise known as Black Mask. This leads to your typical Harley mahem including guns, dynamite, giant hammer and finally on the big screen Harley gets her babies..or baby, hard to tell if there are one or two. You can't have Bud and not Lou. (Harley fans will know).

Marvel gets credit for great casting so lets just take a moment and applaud DC for the spot on choice of Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya.

Birds of Prey releases February 7th and stars Margot Robbie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Rosie Perez, Ali Wong and Ewan McGregor.
