John Bentley was born on December 2, 1916 in Sparkhill, Birmingham, England. He was an actor, known for Calling Paul Temple (1948), Final Appointment (1954) and Salute the Toff (1952). He was married to Patricia Smith. He died on August 13, 2009 in Petworth, West Sussex, England.
