Biography

Ella Lane is the mother of Superman's romantic interest and later wife Lois Lane. Her husband is military general Sam Lane, and she also has a second daughter named Lucy Lane. She was widowed when her husband died during the Our Worlds at War event. In the Modern Age, she was renamed Elinore Lane, and in the New 52, she was renamed Elenor Lane.
