    • castingsinmyblood   @batsonjacksont sort of; he's based on McG's idea for introducing the T-1000 in what I assume would have been a Terminator Prequel Trilogy. In Salvation, we saw that Machines could be human. So in Resistance, the theme should be humans being like machines; lots of transhumanism here. Patrick will serve as someone who sees machine dominance as the key to humanity's evolution; if we work with them, we'll achieve wonders, if we fight them, the weak will be culled. In the end, he becomes the basis for the T-1000 mental processes; the intelligence, the coldness, all that you see in the T-1000 in T2 would be from him.
