  • kmkmkm I understand where you’re coming from. Although, I don’t agree with the point about her features. I think with Candela, in the photo it's just the ‘soft’ makeup that's misleading, but her features are quite defined and eyes quite large (which I think you're referring to) that later on in the book, just as can be imagined, when reading a quote confirming her looks, ‘And she has the most incredible face - large, captivating eyes - and a bone structure that has never been more pronounced.’ (page 201, Restore me) Which leads me on to more on her eyes. In Believe me,(book 6.5) told in Aaron’s perspective.. He is the perspective we hear most of Juliette’s appearance from, because he gives her all his attention, and he mentioned many times how soft and kind looking she was expression wise. Again, although I see why Candela Gallo would probably not be perfectly accurate-looking to Juliette Ferrars in the first books, to Gallo in real life, I understand why I see people imagining her face, in some descriptions.

    • saraha3   @kmkmkm i don't know, i honestly just cannot see candela as juliette contrary to popular opinion. i had actually been following her for some time and the more i learned about her persona, she's actually very "party girl" and has siren/cat eyes paired with sharp features rather than the large eyes i picture when i read that quote. with her features and vibe i think she can be a good fit for ryen trevarrow from punk 47 rather than juliette. the fact she's also admitted to having something done undermines the natural vibe that juliette has. each to their own, of course. but when i read that line by aaron i don't imagine an influencer model..

    • saraha3   in addition i think you should look at kristine froseth also, she has wide eyes and a sharp facial structure however her hair is lighter so that's the only thing she's missing. she's a good fit for aaron's description of juliette and looks more raw and natural, and of course india eisley

  • saraha3 i feel like everyone forgets juliette was 17 in the books. she's described with a raw, haunting, NATURAL beauty. candela fits in too much with social media beauty standards and has cosmetic surgery. she's glazed a lot simply because she has brown hair and blue eyes. look up india eisley, you'll see what i mean by "raw, haunting and natural".
