After failed to hide her supernatural eccentric past and her radical ideas, Columbia University's once-brilliant physicist, and now a jobless academic researcher Abby Yates and physicist Erin Gilbert are trying to prove that ghosts exist in modern society. When strange apparitions appear in Manhattan, Gilbert and Yates joined a fresh young Keyblade wielder and his friends, engineer Jillian Holtzmann for help.
