Description of The Witch of the Waste:

The Witch of the Waste is one of the most powerful magicians in Ingary. Like Howl she has a contract with a fire demon. She was banished to The Waste 50 years before the story starts by the late King. She and Howl had a brief relationship which he fled after realizing she wanted to use his head to build her perfect man and take over Ingary as Queen. Angered by this she cursed Howl so he would have to return to her when he turned 10,000 days old. She lured Sullivan and Justin to the waste and split their bodies apart by magic and build her perfect man from both men except the head. The rest of Sullivan and Justin was used to build a servant she named Gaston. Howl kills her to rescue Sophie.
