Description of Carol Rogers (Captain Nova):
Born in 1965 to Steve and Natasha Rogers, Carol grows up idolizing her parents. When she wishes to join the the Air Force she does so with their full support and blessing. But when, in 1989, she is helping to test an experimental air craft with Dr. Wendy Lawson they are attacked by the Kree. At Lawson's instruction, Carol destroys the engine and is bombarded with energy. She is found by the Nova Corps. who are investigating at Lawson's request, an brought back to Xandar where she becomes part of the Nova Corps. She then returns home in '95 when the Kree-Skrull War comes to Earth.
