Synopsis

To prevent Prince Phobos' evil plans from spreading beyond the world of Metamoor and to protect the rest of the universe, the Oracle lowered a Veil over the planet, separating Metamoor from the rest of the realms under Kandrakar’s protection. However, several portals have opened between Meridian and Heatherfield on Earth, creating a series of passageways for the desperate refugees and monsters of Meridian to infiltrate Earth. The Portals weaken the Veil and to prevent this, generations of Guardians were sent to protect it from collapsing.

Description of Taranee Cook (Guardian of Fire):

Taranee is a timid and reserved teenager, even so, she has a boyfriend, Nigel Ashcroft, who quit Uriah's Gang because Taranee wanted him to. She can be a bit of a "goody-goody" at times and always tries to do what's right. Taranee is the most intelligent member of the group, and her favorite subject is mathematics. She loves photography, basketball, dancing, and classical music, but hates bugs except for butterflies, grasshoppers, and crickets.
