Elizabeth II disappears under mysterious circumstances. Agent 007 manages to capture one of the kidnappers and interrogate him. He, however, did not reveal the Queen's whereabouts. Bond obtains a homing device and it turns out that the Queen is being held... in Brazil! It's unclear what exactly the kidnappers want but Bond knows he has to hurry. On his way to Brazil he meets Áurea, a fugitive who has rebelled against her boss and freed all the hostages. Now she's facing death at the hands of the mercenaries. She decides to help the British agent. However, they are to be hindered in their mission by a mercenary -Francisca Romero.
