Description of Sir Henry Percy McAdam (Percy McAdam):

Henry Percy McAdam (1877-1916) was a German journalist who grew up in a Boarding School with friends Robert Haundwhitch & William Ediths III. Percy married Lucy James in 1899. The next year, they had a child, Dorothy. Percy's fame in newspapers and journals made him become an famous author. Col. A. Butt, who had read one of his novels, & introduced Percy's writing to President Taft in 1907, Percy became a friend of Colonel B. In 1911, Lucy was sick with a strange illness, & in a week, she was dead. Struck with grief, Percy wrote a novel in March 1912. President Taft loved his novels & requested Percy bring it. Percy booked travel on Titanic with his daughter in Cabin D1.
