Synopsis

After the death of Shane, Rick Grimes and the rest of the survivors leave Atlanta and travel across many miles of hostile territory seeking a safer home. The group picks up new members and loses old ones as they attempt to survive the brutal winter. The group eventually finds shelter at a small farm, though it is discovered that Hershel Greene, the owner of the farm, and his family are keeping a dark secret.

  • tylerhamilton Maggie is the middle child of the Greene family, and was born to her mother Louise and father Hershel. She grew up in the city and following her mother's death, moved with the rest of the family back to Hershel's childhood home - the Greene Family Farm. She attended school in the area, along with most of her other siblings, and went to college for one semester where she flunked her courses and had to be pulled out because of her father running out of money. Shortly before the apocalypse occurred, she was in a relationship with an unnamed guy, but she wasn't too enthusiastic about it since he was "a bit of a jerk".

  • tylerhamilton When farmhand Otis accidentally shoots young Carl Grimes, Hershel helps him and his father, Rick, with his group being introduced to the Greene family. Maggie has her eyes fixated on Glenn Rhee for a bit and takes notice to his attraction for Carol. Later that night, she and Glenn share a discussion on the porch about relationships, leading to the two of them having sex. Maggie and Glenn remain close after that and almost immediately begin to develop more than just sexual feelings for each other.

  • tylerhamilton Maggie is deeply distraught over the deaths of Lacey and Arnold after the barn attack, but is comforted by Glenn, later having sex once more. In the morning, however, Hershel catches the two of them in bed together and lashes out at Glenn, provoking Maggie to defend both him and herself, exclaiming how she should be in control of her own life.

  • tylerhamilton When Hershel orders Rick's group to leave, Maggie is able to convince him to let Glenn stay on the farm because of their newfound love for each other.
