Synopsis

Set in a 200% Christian planet known as Strawberryland, The True Story of Strawberry Shortcake is an overhaul and expansion of DiC Entertainment's Strawberry Shortcake. Unlike the original show, the True Story has a heavily expanded lore that addresses many unanswered questions about the series. It also turns the books into episodes, adds new episodes, and tackles many serious challenges, such as death, grief, trauma, puberty, true love, war, racism, terrorism, and mental disorders.

Teakyo's most famous children’s pop star came to Central Strawberryland to sing at the Friendship Festival, but she didn't expect to fall in love with Yuzi Sake. She is also good friends with Strawberry Shortcake, Plum Pudding, Tea Blossom, and Crepes Suzette. Cherry Cuddler is a huge fan of her.
