Synopsis

Remake of "The Thing from Another World" which is science fiction/horror film about a group of scientists at an Arctic research base who discover a frozen extraterrestrial creature. As they thaw it out, the creature comes to life and begins to attack the scientists, forcing them to fight for their survival against a deadly threat."

Description of Dr. Arthur Carrington:

He is a brilliant scientist who is leading the investigation of the alien creature. He is fascinated by the creature and believes that it should be studied and understood, rather than destroyed. He becomes increasingly obsessed with the creature and its capabilities, leading him to make some risky decisions. He is portrayed as intelligent, but somewhat naive and idealistic.
