Blue's family is coded as being Black; Maggie Siefvater has confirmed on Instagram that Blue herself is biracial, Maura is Black, and Artemus is white. For this role, I cast Jadah Marie as an age-appropriate actress with experience in Julie and the Phantoms and Descendants.

  • jos10 do you have a link to or photo of maggie saying that? i also see blue that way but haven’t found anything of maggie’s confirming its true
