Courtney is a kind and friendly orphan teenage maid who dreams of becoming a ballerina like her late mother. One day, after her late mother gave her a pair of rainbow ballet slippers as a birthday present, she puts them on. When she tries on a pair of sparkling rainbow shoes, she and her best friend, Lena and Aiden, are whisked away to a fantastical ballet world.
