Synopsis

The SS Poseidon, an ocean liner slated for retirement, travels from New York City to Athens. Despite safety concerns from Captain Harrison, the new owner's representative insists he go full speed to save money, preventing Poseidon from taking on ballast.

Description of Teddy Parray (Nonnie's Brother):

Theodore "Teddy" Rowland Parray (22 May 1946 - 1 January 1973) is the leader/bandmaster of Unity Five and drummer of the group; an ad-hoc country/pop band started three years before the disaster. He cares for his younger sister Nonnie; as she's barely an adult herself, and is very organized and professional in contrast to her.
