But Evan Morrow, a young and scrappy player from a broken home, gets kicked off his elite hockey team for being “too rough.” With nowhere else to turn, Evan discovers a new hockey program led by a washed-up, down-on-his-luck coach who once played for the Ducks but now runs a youth hockey team with no funding and no support. The new Mighty Ducks team is an underdog group of misfits, each dealing with their own struggles but united by a shared love for the game. Together, they aim to compete in a prestigious league, proving that heart and passion can beat out money and privilege.
