son of a war hero but totally different from him. He's a homeless tramp, rich in his poverty and a mad revolutionary ideologue, even if his ideas were questionable. He works as a hatter, in fact the mercury has gone to his head. he helped Alice during her escape, sheltering him from the authorities, entertaining her with games and reading, the same as his father's.
