Synopsis

It’s Oscar night in Hollywood and among the attendees is none other than oddball character actor turned amateur detective Sammy Lucas – here to present the award for Best Original Screenplay. Lucas was hoping to spend the night meeting his filmmaking heroes, but when the host turns up dead backstage(!), Sammy is not only tasked with catching the culprit, but in order to not derail the festivities he must also step in as host and keep the show going!

Description of Rafael Arenque (The Method Actor):

Known for his transformative performances and intimidating, temperamental on-set behavior, Arenque was coerced into a guest appearance on Benny Styles’ late-night talk show which ended in an intense stare down between the two. Rafael has also made it known that he doesn’t care for Brion Collins’ work, and Collins reveals to Sammy Lucas that Kitty Mills had a rough time working with Rafael in the past. When Styles turns up dead, all eyes turn to him… later, when Clem Schafer is found stabbed, it's Rafael who was standing close by...
