Jonathan Sims, the newly-appointed Head Archivist of the Magnus Institute (a London based academic institute focusing on the academic study & research into the unnatural and paranormal) attempts to reorganize the Institute's neglected and unruly supernatural statements into a cohesive structure. As he begins to catalogue and convert the unusual statements to give those exposed to the paranormal a form of closure, Jonathan finds himself unsettled by what he uncovers.
