Synopsis

The Legend of Drizzt is the overarching series within the Forgotten Realms detailing the exploits of the dark elf Drizzt Do'Urden. An atypical Drow, Drizzt becomes disillusioned with his people's conniving and xenophobic ways and forsakes Drow society, electing to live at first as an exile in the Underdark, and eventually journeying to the surface world, where he faces hatred and prejudice from the peoples of Faerûn who know the Drow by reputation.

Description of Belwar Dissengulp:

Belwar Dissengulp was a svirfneblin of Blingdenstone and was known in the city of Blingdenstone as the "Most Honorable Burrow Warden". Belwar was a stout barrel-chested gnome with a deep voice. After Belwar's hands were cut off, his people grafted enchanted weapons on each arm instead of hands, one being a pick-axe and the other a hammer.
