Synopsis

Elen, now marked by both the Lumen and the Hollow Star, returns from the Vault of Threads changed—her light flickering with shadow, her visions fractured by truths too vast to bear. As reality unravels, ancient constellations fall from the sky, and the dead walk in the echoes of forgotten stars. The Dawnborn Alliance lies in tatters. Prince Corwin is missing, betrayed and imprisoned in the citadel of Black Flame. The rebel armies falter as hope dims. But from ruin, a final path emerges. Guided by remnants of the Starbound Blades, Elen must cross the Ashen Expanse and ascend the celestial spire where the first blade was ever forged. Lady Odria Valen was once a member of the Court's inner circle, known for her intelligence, ruthless ambition, and cold pragmatism. A noblewoman with deep roots in the royal bloodline, Odria had always been a master at playing the political game. But it was her unshakable desire for power and the ability to manipulate her rivals that eventually led her to claim the throne of the Black Flame Court after Malric’s death. With Malric’s brutal reign overthrown, the flame that once burned in his name has now been transferred to her hands—though her flame burns with a different intensity.
