Synopsis

Elen, now marked by both the Lumen and the Hollow Star, returns from the Vault of Threads changed—her light flickering with shadow, her visions fractured by truths too vast to bear. As reality unravels, ancient constellations fall from the sky, and the dead walk in the echoes of forgotten stars. The Dawnborn Alliance lies in tatters. Prince Corwin is missing, betrayed and imprisoned in the citadel of Black Flame. The rebel armies falter as hope dims. But from ruin, a final path emerges. Guided by remnants of the Starbound Blades, Elen must cross the Ashen Expanse and ascend the celestial spire where the first blade was ever forged. There, in the heart of the dying firmament, lies the source of all Lumen—and the truth of the world’s creation. Yet Cervan, now fully awakened as the Mouth of the Shroud, seeks to unmake all threads of fate, wielding the Hollow Star to collapse the Veil forever. As Elen’s inner light wanes and her allies fall one by one, she must decide: Will she destroy the Hollow Star, or merge with it—becoming either a new god… or the end of all things? In this final chapter of the Starbound saga, destinies converge, legends are reborn, and one girl must choose between burning bright—or becoming the darkness that devours the stars.

Description of King Malric The Starbane (Killed at end of 2nd Film):

Once a ruler feared across the realms, King Malric sought to command the stars themselves, driven by an insatiable hunger for power. With his reign, he imposed a brutal, authoritarian order, crushing resistance and forcing his will upon the people. His pursuit of dominion over the Lumen and the Shroud beyond the stars set into motion the events of Elen’s awakening. Though he perished at the end of the second film, his shadow continues to shape the world. His name echoes in whispers, his designs now carried out by his followers in the Black Flame Court, and his twisted legacy remains a constant threat to the realms.
