Synopsis

Gene is different from everyone else around him. He can’t run with lightning speed, sunlight doesn’t hurt him, and he doesn’t have an unquenchable lust for blood. Description of Ashley June:

Ashley is Gene's crush and a romantic interest and she will eventually fall in love with him. She is popular, intelligent, pretty, flirty, naive and cunning. She can survive in the enviroment she was born in, her hair is reddish brown color, her chin is sharp, she always wears pretty clothes and is surrounded by popular people. She feels lonely and insecure in first book, in many ways she reflects Gene's character. Later after some events she turns out to be malicious, jealous, furious and sadistic, but yet still honestly in love with Gene.
