(Remake of 1968 film)
Based on the 1966 book of the same name. Det. Sgt. Joe Leland is a weather-beaten cop in a corrupt, 1960s, New York City. When a mutilated body is found in a shared apartment, what at first appears to be a straightforward murder case becomes a journey into a murky world of the City’s dark underbelly.
