Synopsis

GUN have been hunting down one certain mercenary working for Eggman since day one: Zero the Jackal, along with his team Jackal Squad. Zero has a new assignment from the surprisingly-alive Dr Robotnik of acquiring a powerful gem capable of warping realities and time itself: the Phantom Ruby. GUN sent Shadow and Team Dark to chase the Jackal Squad as they go to pull off the murderous heist. After losing his entire team, and a battle to Shadow, Zero had been mocked and insulted for being weak and not being worth the effort. When he finally obtained the Phantom Ruby, he volunteers to be Eggman's guinea pig for his experiment. Eventually, Zero will become the most powerful enemy Mobius has ever seen: Infinite.

Description of Commander Abraham Tower:

Although Abe is not a commander anymore, he pays Shadow a visit at GUN headquarters to show his insight on Jackal Squad since he was commander before Topaz. He explains every single time that he had men trying to capture or arrest Zero and his team, it always ended in tragedy, destruction, and death. He wanted to be commander long enough to see their end. When Shadow returns after having defeated Zero and Jackal Squad, Abe feels relieved that all of those agents that lost their lives to Jackal Squad have been avenged and that his mission has been completed for him.
