David Higgins is the husband of his high school sweetheart Evelyn Higgins, and the father of Audrey Higgins. David is of Asian ancestry; his mother Tae Higgins (née Sun-Mi) was a Korean native who moved to the US for a better life where she met David's father, John Higgins, an Asian-American man.
