Nancy GarcĂa Thompson an exemplary girl, excellently in math and apparently ... for Springwood she was just the daughter of an alcoholic and former prostitute. Dating the son of the "perfect couple Lantz" was an affront to the city's good manners and when Nancy tries to warn that the murders have begun again in Springwood and that the young people of Elm Street have come to see a violent and bloodthirsty entity in their dreams, Nancy Thompson comes to be seen as an alarmist wanting attention and a drug addict. Springwood's adults know well what she's talking about. Well ... they'll see who's crazy.
