The headquarters of the League of Assassins, led by Ra's al Ghul, his daughter Talia and his nephew Damian, is attacked by Slade Wilson and his men: Deathstroke is in fact eager to take revenge for being chosen and then discarded, in favor of Batman, as Ra's successor and Talia's lover. The leader of the League and his former right-hand man then battle each other and although Damian manages to pierce Slade's right eye, Ra's dies shortly before diving into the Lazzarus Pit.
