In the era where flamboyantly LGBT entertainers such as David Bowie and Elton John were gaining national recognition, Gerald "Geraldine" Atkins was seen on much smaller stages but was considered to be just as much of a star. Little did his fans know of the dark secrets that he hid when the crowds were gone.....
