Synopsis

After witnessing the death of his parents, billionaire Bruce Wayne travels the world to learn the means of fighting injustice. Upon returning to Gotham 8-years later, he seeks to fight the crime and corruption that has plagued the city for so long as the vigilante known as "Batman." But when a deformed madman calling himself "The Joker" seeks to take control of Gotham's criminal underworld, Batman must find a way to defeat probably his most ruthless nemesis yet.

Description of Martha Wayne:

Martha Katherine Wayne (April 21, 1935 - October 31, 1970) was in life the loving wife and mother of Dr. Thomas and Bruce Wayne respectively as well as a fellow friend to Dr. Leslie Thompkins, Thomas's fellow colleague and best friend. However, one fateful night a few days before the end results of Thomas's mayoral election campaign, both her and her husband were gunned down dead by the sadistic Jack Napier in front of a horrified young Bruce.
