Description of King Archibald:
King who falls in love with the beggar Beatriz and makes her his wife. After capturing Beatriz and Bard's knight who escaped, he challenges the knight to a duel over Beatriz. He decides not to fight fair and one of his other trusted knights strikes Bard in the back with a blade.
