Synopsis

Description of Hildie Moore:

John and Mim’s daughter, a playful little girl who likes dogs, helping her mother in the vegetable garden, chasing chickens, and is generally pleased with her country life. She is enamored with Perly at the beginning, when he gifts her with a wagon, but becomes more and more afraid of him as the story goes on. Aged 6-7
