Synopsis

Harrowing tensions explode in a series of events that could happen anywhere, to anyone, just as they do to John Moore—whose days of freedom run out, who is stripped of his possessions, his courage, and his hopes, one by one, by the ominous presence of an insidious stranger impossible to resist.

Description of Ezra Stone:

One of Perly’s officers, a well-liked man about town who genuinely believes Perly has the town’s best interests in mind. He turns a blind eye to the cruelties inflicted, trying to rationalize them, and generally lives in a state of denial regarding what he’s involved in. He finally accepts that he’s been used to hurt his own community and turns on Perly at the end, assisting the town in their attack; tall with a slim build and brown hair. Aged in his 40’s.
