Synopsis

Archeologist and space traveler Adam Strange has been trying to warn as many as he can of Darkseid's onslaught. His efforts have drawn the efforts of Apokolips, who have recruited some new allies to try and stop him.

Description of "The Age of Heroes is over." (Mid-credits scene):

As Darkseid is mourning the loss of his son, he vows that he will make the heroes of the universe pay dearly. He then declares that he has finally solved the Anti-Life Equation, so it was finally time for his reign to begin, defiantly declaring that the Age of Heroes was now over.
