Synopsis

Thousands of years ago, a mysterious sorcerer created a mystical substance known as Chi capable of awakening mystical powers known as Chi in living beings, as well as transforming them into the most diverse creatures. The Hamato Clan waged war for years to protect this substance from falling into the wrong hands. In a battle to the death between Hamato Yoshi and Oruko Saki in a temple, an explosion of this substance was triggered, transforming Yoshi and four baby turtles of different species into mutants. After that, Yoshi, now known as Splinter, trained these four turtles in the art of Ninjutsu and the mystical arts of Chi in the sewers of Tokyo. However, after an attack by the Foot Clan, they moved to the sewers of Manhattan, where they met a young journalism student, April O'Neil. The four turtles must now face a variety of threats, from members of the Foot Clan, mutants, mystical and interdimensional beings, and learn more about chi and this mysterious substance.

Description of Donatello Hamato:

The Brain of the group. Donatello is the most intelligent of the group, as well as the most rational and sensible of them all. He tends to be very cautious and skeptical, and also quite sarcastic. Donatello is somewhat socially awkward about his tastes, often going on for long periods of time and being overly technical in conversations or when writing something down. Donatello is very proud of his inventions and hates it when they are carelessly destroyed. He is also a big fan of anime, especially mecha ones, and is also fascinated by the theories of renowned scientists, with a recurring gag of him citing the names of renowned scientists as exclamations.
