Synopsis

Still healing from the death of his adoptive father Jonathan Kent from Superman: Last Sons of Krypton, Superman comes across yet another alien spacecraft, this time with a young woman who turns out to be his biological cousin named Kara Zor-El, with the same superpowers as him. It soon becomes clear that she came to Earth to help her cousin protect from the tyrannical and sadistic alien warlord Granny Goodness from the planet Apokolips who seeks to take control of all planets in the universe for her mysterious master.

Description of "An Approaching Threat" (Post-Credit Scene):

After having failed to both conquer Earth and defeat both Superman and Supergirl, Granny Goodness returns to Planet Apokolips in shame where she faces the wrath of her equally cruel master... Darkseid. "HOW DARE YOU FAIL ME; I SHOULD STRIKE YOU DOWN WHERE YOU STAND!" he shouts with fury. "Take her away until she can prove herself worthy again." His guards do as they're told as they drag a screaming Granny Goodness to her cell. "Do not worry Superman and Supergirl." he says while looking at a screen showing the heroic duo, "I'm not finished with you just yet. You'll see, when the time is right everyone in the universe including you shall all bow before me in fear."
