Lex Luthor has been plagued by the existence of Superman for over a decade. He's been brought to the brink of insanity and back. But now he's finally going to get his revenge. Our story starts as Lex Luthor has been elected as President of the United States of America. Clark and Lois try to cope with the fact that they're living in an America run by Luthor, but they're interrupted when President Luthor labels Superman as an enemy of the state, offering a $1 billion bounty for him, and permitting anyone and everyone to bring down Superman, even with lethal results, with no legal repercussions. Description of Leslie Willis (Livewire):

Leslie is a podcaster known for bashing Superman, believing him to be a show-off who thinks of himself as god over man, who has it so easy while humans have to struggle. One night, after being harassed by radical Superman supporters, Leslie is struck by lightning and her body absorbs the energy, changing her forever. She blames Superman and starts hunting him in a blind rage. After a few confrontations, Superman sacrifices himself saving Leslie from her own destruction, proving to Leslie that he's not a god, and his life isn't easy. Leslie uses all her strength to bring Superman back to life, and he makes her believe she is capable of more.
