It's another typical day in Metropolis with Superman until a little man pop of nowhere named Mr. Mxyzptlk arrives in Metropolis, causing chaotic, reality-warping mischief, such as making statues come to life and turning city streets into water. He challenges Superman to a game where he can only be sent back if he says his name backwards. Mxyzptlk acts as a chaotic trickster, frustrating Superman, who eventually outsmarts him.
