The year is 1941. Sent to Earth from doomed planet Krypton, Kal-El was raised in Smallville, Kansas as Clark Kent, who adopted a double life as mild-mannered reporter for Metropolitan newspaper, the Daily Planet and as super-powered, caped wonder who becomes known as the Superman. Through his many acts of valor, Superman became a hero to the city of Metropolis and a national sensation but a new enemy looms that even the great “Man of Steel” may not be able to thwart; a full-scale war that threatens to consume his adopted home.
