Synopsis

A powerful force, led by the new enemy Master Hand, has gone from universe to universe looking for worthy warriors and see which one will come on top and be his second in command. He has found at least one in every single universe. But he had to coerce them by capturing their friends, families or allies. Mario and Sonic have to rescue Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Luigi, Toad, and Princess Peach because if they didn't choose to do it by Master Hand's orders, he would destroy their worlds. Unlikely friendships forge beginning with fighting to start with. But together, they will destroy Master Hand and save the multiverse.

Description of Link (Fighter #3):

Link is on a quest to save Princess Zelda from the clutches of Master Hand. He will eventually meet the Fellowship of Smash, and fight them, thinking they are his enemies. But when he was outmatched and disarmed in combat by Sonic, Link has respect for the blue hedgehog, who was generous enough to help him get off the ground. For a kid, Link became a valorous and formidable member in their fellowship. He will do whatever it takes to get Zelda back. During his time with the Smash fighters, he grew close with the hedgehog that beat him, along with Mario, DK and Samus.
