Synopsis

While the crew of the starship Voyager manage in the Delta Quadrant back in the Alpha Quadrant on another ship, with another crew, follow the adventures of the USS Endeavour (NCC-39123) on their mission to also "go where no human has gone before."

Description of Lieutenant Commander Dr Edward "Eddie" Zhang:

He was born a woman but transitioned to a male. He is very argumentative and is always fighting with command and the captain in particular as he finds fault with everyone. He is easily disliked but over time the crew comes to understand him better, how although he always finds fault with people his greatest criticisms are directed at himself and that he is like this because he knows that the universe is harsh and unforgiving of error; truthfully he cares too much about people. When asked what his birth name was he replied "What does it matter? My name is Eddie now."
