Mary Jane Watson, often shortened to MJ, is the deuteragonist of [[Spider-Man]] and it's 2004 sequel Spider-Man 2 and the tritagonist of Spider-Man 3-6. She’s a character that first appeared in Marvel comic books created by writer Stan Lee and artist John Romita, Sr. in 1965. She was played by Kirsten Dunst in all three films in the Raimi Spider-Man Trilogy between 2002 and 2015. She's the love interest and later girlfriend of Peter Parker. She was once the ex-fiancée of John Jameson and an ex-girlfriend of Flash Thompson and Harry Osborn.
