In college studying archaeology, Min Min deciphers the symbols of the Coast Lines in New Zealand. Impressed by this feat, the Galactic Union Police recruit and train her to be Earth's third Space Sheriff. She was given the code name Shaider in memory of an ancient warrior who defeated Emperor Kazuya Mishima and brought down his G Corporation 12,000 years ago.
