When a character is a Jerk Jock, Alpha B-tch, or member of the Girl Posse, they'll likely be beautiful, rich, and, to a certain extent at least, charismatic enough to be envied by many of their schoolmates. However, at the same time, they're typically depicted as being unintelligent — sometimes to the point of Too Dumb to Live.
